Product Review-Wizzit Autotweezer

my friend asked me in the chatbox about the wizzit autotweezer and i promised to do a review on it. so here goes.

the tweezer comes in a black velvety pouch. it requires two AAA batteries to operate. when i first used it, it felt weird, slightly painful and it feels like little electric shocks. i even tried it on my lil bro's arm and he wasn't too pleased about it. i used it on my armpit and you know how sensitive the armpits are, right? so go figure. you can actually feel the tweezer plucking (or rather tugging) at your hair, one by one. but after some time, i got used to it and continued tweezing away though i find it a bit noisy. well, it is close to your ears when you tweeze so it kinda annoyed me a bit. before i bought the tweezer, i read the review on the blogshop, which was very helpful. however, unless and until you have tried it yourself, then only you can say for real. the blogshop suggested to remove the transparent blue cover to increase effectiveness. this, i agree with her. the downside is, the hair that was plucked (you can actually see the roots of the hair) goes all over the place. i tweezed on my bed and i can see the hair everywhere on my bed sheet. not a pretty sight. if you leave the blue transparent cover, the hair will get trapped in there and you need to clean it every once in a while. do take note that not all hairs get trapped by the tweezer so you may need to manually pluck what's left.

as for hair regrowth, i noticed that it is slower (because the root of the hair was plucked) and some hairs grew fine. do take note that you must wait for it to regrow before you start tweezing again or else the tweezer might not 'trap' the hair. as for me, i tweezed some hairs which have started to show manually.

overall, i rate this product 3.5 out of 5. it definitely delivers and it is efficient. you know how shaving is not good for your skin, right? by the way, i only tried on my armpits. i don't use it on other parts of the body (yet). when i bought mine, i also received this beauty kit and a hair clip as a token of appreciation by the blogshop owner.

oh here's a tip, after i finished tweezing, i applied Bio Oil on my armpits to soothe the skin.
