advanced gift

when i was small, i was introduced to the songs of Engelbert Humperdinck by my parents. until today, i still love listening to his songs and sometimes i even sing his song(s) at karaokes. about two weeks ago, litefm had a contest where they give out Engelbert Humperdinck's concert tickets. the concert is called Engelbert Humperdinck 2010 Legacy of Love World Tour. i tried calling in litefm since the first day they started the contest and i only managed to get through the line on wednesday. i was ecstatic! all i had to do was complete the next line of his song. they played this song.

(OMG i was only 2 years old when this song came out!!)

they played the first line "Please release me let me go..." and all i have to do is sing the line following it. so i sang "For i don't love you anymore..." and with that, i won two tickets to his concert. isn't it amazing? i even texted lil bro and mum and called boyfy to ask them to tune in to litefm to listen to it, which they did. :D

the tickets

i wanted to watch the concert (i think i may be one of youngest, if not THE youngest in the crowd) but since Father's Day is coming up this weekend, i decided to give Dad the tickets. perfect timing, right? ;) he was excited. mum was even more excited. :D
i am sure they are gonna enjoy themselves and they can relive those memories when they were younger when they listened to the songs.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY (in advance), ABAH! enjoy the concert!

Humperdinck, the man has arguably the funniest name in music showbiz. :-) My mom used to love him to...."quando quando quando!"

It's not his first visit to Malaysia, I bought tickets for my parents a few years ago at Genting.

a unique name for a man, yeah? ;) oh so this is not the first time he came to Malaysia? cool! i'm sure your parents enjoyed the concert as much as my parents did.
